LV Whitewater

Paddling the Upper lehigh, meet at White Haven at 9:30 on Saturday 7/31 so we can run the shuttle and get the party started!

Release is scheduled to be 675 cfs, a nice gentle level for the upper, so come on out and have some fun. All the usual applies, whitewater equipment, a wet exit and some experience necessary, but first timers on the gorge are more than welcome and at least one brave soul is making her first run that day with us...any questions email me or post here and ask away.

I can't wait, it's been an 'interesting' week at work and I need a good day on the river to relax. Unfortunatly I only have Saturday this weekend, I got stuck working Sunday Sad

so I have to make this a GREAT trip to hold me all week!

Not sure if any of you guys know/remember us, however Beth and I were already planning on doing the Upper this weekend. If you guys don't mind, we'll save driving an extra car if we run the shuttle with you. If everything is okay, we'll see you at 9:30 at White Haven, if not, let us know. I'll check back after work and again before we leave in the morning.

Matt and Beth,

Just for future reference if you ever have to go it alone on the Upper Lehigh as long as you get there around 9-10am you can almost always find a ride back from the takeout so you don't have to drive two vehicles.
Either find someone at the putin that looks like they are heading down to shuttle and arrange a ride.... or.... just head down to the takeout and hang out and hitch a ride with someone in the parking lots at Rockport.
I've done it a couple of times when it's just be me and the wife and I've given rides to quite a number of people many times. If someone has room they are usually more than willing to give you a ride back up. Just good river karma.

Everythings loaded and ready to go. We decided to drive the GEO Tracker today just for kicks. Its black with 2 LiquidLogics on the roof. Red and White. Were gonna eat some breakfast and then head on up to White Haven for 9:30. Were gonna add an extra 1/2 hour for race traffic. Hopefully that'll be enough.

I did notice Jessie said he was headed to RP so if thats where the shuttle starts, please let us know. sixten-five97-9858.
