The staff at Nockamixon State Park tell me that the Tohickon spring release is scheduled for March 20th and 21st. In keeping with tradition, I will be at the Puffin restaurant at 7:00am for breakfast, which is on RT 412 just north of the Hellertown exit of RT 78. We will gather at the park-n-ride lot, at the same exit of RT 78, between 7:45 and 8:00 AM to arrange car-pooling. By 9:00 AM we should be at the put-in at Ralph Stover State Park.

First timers are welcome and encouraged to join us. While we will greet you warmly be aware that the water may not be as friendly should you have to make its acquaintance, so dress accordingly. Feel free to contact me with questions at: dennis-w@rcn.com

Sunday MAYBE...
Saturday is out but I'm trying to make it Sunday, but can't be sure till later in the week or possibly the night before. I'll be camping with the Boy Scouts at Ockanickon Scout camp right on the banks of the Tohickon so I'll probably just meet you at the put in if I can get away..about 9, right?

Hopefully I can make it happen, I paddled the toe once before ( last week) and had a blast and I can't wait to try it again.
